[Well, that dream shit was...fucking bizarre, to say the least. Through some miracle, Ash was able to avoid most of the fallout--save for the occasional meteor that fell across his path. It's only several weeks afterwards does he remember the conversation passed between him and...whatever that person's name was. He doesn't think they even gave him a name, but he thought they had a pretty good conversation. And they had mentioned wanting to be able to drink again, so maybe they were down to party.

Thus, in typical Ashley J. Williams fashion, Ash tries to drink his troubles away. Nevermind the fact that he hardly has any money to support himself and that he's mooching off a random woman he met and slept with about three days ago.]

[Before he heads on out, he helps himself to his host's wallet. If they're being generous enough to allow him to stay without paying rent, then they won't miss a few...whatever currency they use in this place, right? Besides, it's not like they're going to ever see him again.

Ash makes his way down to the bar and settles in. It's a bit early in the evening, which means that it isn't too crowded just yet. He slouches against the counter, scratching his chin. A half-smirk adorns his face.

It's only now that he realizes that he doesn't actually know who he's supposed to be looking for. Oh, well. His only hope is that the person he was chatting to notices the fact that he doesn't have his right hand. Is it maybe ill advised to meet with someone you met on the Internet? Maybe. But, then again, Ash Williams embodies the idea of "ill-advised".]

[ After a moment of no reply, she shrugs. ]

No in between in her very limited experience. She slides inside, blinking through the haze of smoke and just. Staring at each person. Looking for anyone missing an upper extremity. Thank god it’s not like, super crowded yet?

[ She takes a deep breath before making her way over and just. Tapping on his shoulder with a look on her face akin to a prisoner making their way to death row that gets forced into a nervous smile as he turns around. ]

[Apparently completely unaware of Coraline's nervous energy, Ash turns to face her and is immediately taken aback. For some reason, he had assumed he was talking to another dude on the network. He's...not sure why he had made that assumption, but now it makes sense that she was calling him out on his bullshit.

Not that this is bad. A grin spreads across his face as he gestures to the seat next to him.]

Figure you must be, uh, nightshade? Settle down, grab a seat! [He gestures for the bartender to come over.] Order whatever you want, 'cus I'm not payin' for it.

[ She narrows her eyes in suspicion and just studies him for a moment as she once again questions her own decision making ability. At the mention of him not paying though, she lets out a small snort and sits, rolling her eyes in the process. ]

[ She cuts out as the bartender arrives, hoping to make their job as painless as possible. ]

[Ash quirks an eyebrow at the order, while the bartender shrugs and begins pouring out a drink. Ash lets out a snort.]

[A smirk appears on his face as he turns back to the bartender.]

Bartender! Gimme a margarita, stat. I'm dryin' up like a man in a desert. [He turns back to address Coraline, leaning against the bar surface.] How've you been finding monster hell, then? Personally, it's been goin' pretty great for me. No responsibilities, no taxes. 'course, I still have to pay for things, but that's easy enough to amend.
